Dedication

We are one of the few Anglican churches dedicated to the Holy Innocents: these were the children slain by King Herod whose story is found at the end of St Matthew's narrative of the visit of the wise men to the stable in Bethlehem. It is a biblical tale of an atrocity, and one which focuses our mind on the suffering of children in the world today.
